Science

Super Science Concoctions: 50 Mysterious Mixtures for Fabulous Fun
by Jill Frankel Hauser
This is our favorite science book. It includes easy-to-follow experiments that help you learn about molecules, phase changes, chemical changes, viscosity, capillary action, and polymers. These all sound like serious science, but they're really more like fun magic tricks. We particularly like this book because it always includes a paragraph explaining the "principle of the thing," why it did what it did.
